Year 8 Handball Team Success!
St Chad’s Year 8 Handball Team recently celebrated winning the Halton School Tournament which took place at Wade Deacon School in Widnes.
Headteacher Andrew Keeley and Head of P.E Jim Morrell congratulated the Year 8 boys by entering them in the EHA National u-13’s Cup for 2012. “The commitment and dedication and sheer talent shown by this young team is an achievement that they should be very proud of and I hope they will continue to show the same commitment in the future, as I am sure they will” said Andrew Keeley.
Jim Morrell said that "to prepare for this higher level of competition the squad of twenty will have to display the greatest of dedication". Their first competition will be at Culcheth High School on Tuesday 13th of March. Training has already begun and we hope to be reporting our first win in the EHA Nationals”.
