9 pupils in Yr 9 who attended events last year, attended a residential event at Lakeside. The event involves outdoor activities and promotion of skills like teamwork.

7 Year 9 students attended a 2 day ‘Choose Science’ event in February half term at the University of Liverpool and again students were able to use specialist equipment in the Science labs.

Impact theatre visited school to give all Year 9 pupils a humorous and informative drama presentation about the new Health diploma. The drama also informed pupils of the need to gain further training and qualifications as they go through their working life.
