Welcome to the St Chad's ICT Focus Group home page. The ICT Focus Group was set up in September 2008 to support staff and investigate ways of leading St Chad's towards becoming an ICT-enabled community.

The links provided on this page will allow you to access useful websites containing information about the use of ICT in education, develop an awareness of emerging technologies and their use in schools, key information about forthcoming events and workshops and celebration of the good practice currently being undertaken by the ICT Champions of St Chad's.

Over the next twelve months there are a number of challenges facing education, including online reporting to parents and Becta's vision of pupil's actively using e-portfolios to showcase work and communicate with a range of people both in school and the wider community. St Chad's through the work of the Focus Group intend to embrace the changes and the demands they will bring.
