The aim of the course?
The Art Department at St ChadÃs deliver a diverse course in 6th form art and design A/S and A2 courses, where students will be encouraged to utilise many skills and materials in a variety of specialist areas;
- Textiles
- Painting and drawing
- Printmaking
- Computer art (Photoshop)
Who is the course aimed at?
It is expected that candidates who enrol for the above course have a GCSE grade C in Art and design. It is also expected that students who have a very keen interest in the subject and research can show initiative and self motivation especially in relation to their personal study.
Students will endeavour to undertake 2 units of work which consists of course-work and an examination.
