PE BTEC
What is involved in BTEC PE - Level 2?
This is a one year course that covers 7 Units of work. The course follows a mixture of theory and practical lessons. There are many different ways of Learning, working and presenting your work.
You choose two contrasting practical activities to specialise in and will work in group and undertake individual research. All pupils will complete the compulsory Sports Leaders Award in Coaching.

How am I assessed?
There are 7 coursework assignments, one for each of the units above. You can present your work in as many ways including PowerPoint, video and practically. Each assignment includes tasks at 3 Levels: Pass, Merit and Distinction - and your final level is awarded based on which tasks you complete.
Course Entry Requirements & Progression:
D-G Grades at GCSE
Careers - Sports Centres, fitness clubs, further study in Sport, BTEC National Level 3.
