Why study Travel and Tourism - Level 2?
Travel and Tourism is the largest industry on the planet and generates billions of dollars for the global economy.If you are looking to start a career in this industry, and even if you are not, this could be the qualification for you.
The courses offered are completed over 12 months and place heavy emphasis on vocational skills.

There are no minimum requirements to join the course but a good GCSE in English will be a direct advantage.

BTEC Leisure and Tourism provides skills in the following subjects:
Business Studies
ICT
Sport and Fitness
Job-Seeking Skills

Course Options

BTEC First Certificate & equivalent to two GCSE's at Grades A*-C. To complete the BTEC First Certificate a candidate must complete three units. Two of which are compulsory, one is option and to be decided during discussions with your teacher.
BTEC First Diploma & equivalent to four GCSE's at Grades A*-C. The structure of the course is different in that students complete three compulsory units and three optional units.
